Get Together After Serving is a local charity providing services to assist veterans with their housing or finding employment, as well as giving veterans opportunities to volunteer in the local community.
Their football academy has become increasingly popular, coming together twice every week to train and compete against other teams, including a ladies team.
I am impressed by their energy and passion to help each other and benefit their community. They have no staff, which means everything they do is run by volunteers and every donation to them is spent on the charity.
