After meeting the new owners the other day, I can confirm that a new Post Office WILL be located in Middleton’s shopping centre, and there are plans for a new cash machine.
I’m very glad that with the help of hundreds of local people who joined my campaign, meetings with government ministers, the new Middleton Mayoral Development Corporation, and my conversations with Link/Cash Access UK we are to make real progress in securing a future for a post office in the town.
