I’m pleased to share that the Post Office has “committed to restoring services” in Middleton, in response to my letter to its Chief Executive.
I have had an incredible response from constituents since the Post Office in Middleton town centre closed along with TG Jones. Hundreds of people have signed my petition for a replacement, which shows how much people care about and rely on a Post Office and its services.
I wrote to the Chief Executive seeking a commitment to Middleton, and I am very pleased to say that we have received one. Working with the local retail community, the Post Office will hopefully find a replacement offer as soon as possible.
The future of Middleton is strong, and keeping services in the town must be a priority. I will play my part in making that happen for the benefit of residents.
