After many complaints to me and my office about the mail service, especially in Middleton, I have been actively pressing Royal Mail to improve the service.

I have received an update from Royal Mail about the way they organise letter deliveries which they believe will improve the rate of delivery locally.

They have confirmed that it has now been rolled out across our area and they say deliveries have improved up to 98%.

I have always said that I will give a voice to local people and represent your views to Royal Mail in response to the many complaints I received.
